NYIT Falls to Penn State

The NYIT Bears drop to 0-12 after losing a close one, 7-3, to Penn State. They had battled back to cut the deficit to 4-3, but allowed three runs to come across in the bottom of the seventh.

Michael Sinnott suffered the loss, as he tossed 4.2 innings, allowing four earned runs while walking six.

The Bears did smash 10 hits in the game; including three each by Joe Daru and Josh Canabal.

They will return to action today against Penn St. in search of their first victory.
