Today will be the first day with a full slate of games. Last Saturday would’ve been, but everyone was rained out.
Division-I:
Stony Brook will take on America East rival Maine in Orono, Maine at noon today. Last night, the Sea Wolves swept them by the scores of 8-5 in 13 innings and 3-1. In the night cap, reliever Cameron Stone recorded the three-inning save, striking out eight of the nine outs.
NYIT will continue their series at NJIT with a DH beginning at noon. Last night, the Bears were trounced 14-6.
Hofstra will play the middle game of a three-game set at the College of Charleston. The game will begin at three. They were shutout last night, with Chris Bonk suffering the loss. Steven Foster had two of the Pride’s six hits.
Division-II:
Adelphi will host LeMoyne in a DH beginning at noon. They defeated the Dolphins last night by the score of 8-4. It was Dom Scala’s 300th career victory.
Dowling will host Queens in a DH beginning at noon. The Golden Lions defeated them on Thursday 4-1 behind Cody McPartland’s strong outing.
Molloy will host Nyack in a DH beginning at noon. It is the annual Prostrate and Breast Cancer Awareness Game. The Lions offense is red-hot, having scored 28 runs in the past two games. On Thursday, Shea Spitzbarth threw a CG, striking out 10 Dominican batters.
LIU Post will play a DH at St. Thomas Aquinas beginning at noon. They are coming off a 9-3 victory over them on Thursday, in which Jake DeCarli threw seven strong innings for his fourth victory of the season.
Division-III:
St. Joseph’s will host CCNY in a DH beginning at noon. They have won four consecutive games to improve their record to 6-7. They are coming off a DH sweep of Maritime on Wednesday.
