Adelphi swept a double header from AIC by the scores of 8-7 and 10-3, reaching .500 for the first time in five weeks.

The first game was as wild as it gets. They overcame a two-run deficit in the ninth inning with the winning run coming in on a two-run double by Alex Zykoff, which gave Nick Batas his first win of the season after firing three strong innings.

TJ Santiago started the game, having entered with a 1.99 ERA in his freshman season so far, but was touched up for nine hits and three runs in 5.2 innings.
The Panthers did blow a three-run lead but benefitted from 16 hits; four from Eric Hassell, and three from Rich Mejia and Kevin Hutzel.
The second game was a conventional blowout. Mike Ceperano fired the first seven innings, allowing three runs and was relieved by Chris Lemorocco and Matt Abramowitz. The offense stayed hot with 14 hits; three from Cliff Brantley (two runs scored, three RBI), and Kevin Hutzel (two runs scored, two RBI).
They have a huge weekend with double headers against Stonehill and Bentley University. They are back to .500 for the first time since the opening weekend, now they will look to take off.
