The Adelphi Panthers dropped a 16-10 slugfest to No. 13 ranked Kutztown of Pennsylvania. Matt Abramowitz was the pitcher on the long side as he drops to 0-3 on the season.

The bright spots for the Panthers was Brandon Stahl’s 4-4 performance as well as a three hit and five RBI day from first baseman Anthony Zarrella.

Freshman Jonathon Mulford got the start for the Panthers, he had previously been untouchable through his first 23 innings. He was touched up for nine hits and seven runs in four innings of work. Abramowitz came on and gave up two runs in his one inning of work.

Adelphi scored two runs in the ninth inning but at that point it was too little too late as the Panthers fell to 11-12-1. They have not been able to sustain a hot streak thus far. They will have a big double header against UMASS-Lowell on Saturday.
